Was initially hesitant to purchase at this price, as there are less expensive options. I took a shot, and am damn glad I did. I have used the end plates with sling adaptors, and find that Midwest Industries is the way to go.
The construction, concept, and design are all TOP NOTCH!
Construction--solid, high quality material that will last and endure,
Concept--easily installs with the INCLUDED tool without removing castle nut and end plate. I used a little blue loktite for the sake of making sure, but don't feel the loktite was necessary.
Design--TRUE ambi that is easily accessed with multiple sling styles. The sling loop sits far enough back from the grip and rear of the receiver that, even with gloves, clipping and unclipping of slings is easily done.
Conclusion--if you are on the fence about your purchase, feel 100000% confident this adaptor is the way to go. Just the thoughts/unpaid endorsement of a customer with a background in private sector personal security. Thanks MI
