5 QD Rear Sling Adapter for 4-position CAR Stock

The MI QD Rear Sling Adapter for 4-position CAR Stock is in my opinion the best, and cheapest, way to mount a sling with QD swivels to a CAR-15 stock. It even comes with a QD Swivel! Installation was easy, but I used the long pair of screws to make it even easier to get everything lined up straight. Then I took out one screw at a time, replacing it with the shorter screw with a drop or two of blue threadlocker on it. The fact there's a QD socket on BOTH sides is a bonus. I didn't have to decide which side to put it on.

5 QD sling adapter

I bought this adapter for my B5 retro CAR15 stock and it fits just fine, there was a tiny bit of slack and I was a little worried it would wobble but after tightening down the adapter I found there to be no wobble. The adapter comes with a sling mount, personally i feel that the sling mount was a bit of the skinny side, thankfully I had a BCM QD sling mount handy and swapped out the sling mounts. But overall I'm very happy with this adapter, oh I almost forgot, the adapter does not have an anti rotation property so the sling mount will rotate freely.

I bought this for my CAR stock, went on easy, did cut the longer screws shorter to be flush. Mounted solid, well built, and great addition.

Only 4 stars since I haven’t had installed long. Fit the stock great, quality feel and easy install. Supplied sling stud could be a bit more robust. Would buy again and recommend to anyone.
